New software solution leads the way into the digital future

Since the end of 2016, Reukema, with its head office in the Dutch city of Harderwijk, has worked with Tegos’ premium solution comotor. The innovative traditional firm on its way to the digital future was looking for a partner for a strong software solution, which it found in tegos GmbH Dortmund. Reukema is a pioneer in a traditional sector such as metal recycling, as far as digital visions are concerned. Two proprietary apps make the work easier for clients as well as for private suppliers and ensure transparency in the market by including current material prices.

Reukema already worked with the ERP software solution of another large German supplier until 2016. It didn’t satisfy the company’s wishes on the way to a paperless office, so a new innovative partner was found in tegos GmbH Dortmund. With the introduction, Reukema would like to optimise its processes and better manage the high risks of metal commercial transactions.

In a tight time window of about six months, the existing software solution was initially replaced with the premium solution comotor. Reukema uses the mobile client on the recycling centre. This enables employees to have access to the system from anywhere using a tablet or a smartphone. Long distances can then be avoided and the incoming material can be documented in an optimal way.
