The new Hannover recycling centre of the Hagedorn Group has relied on tegossuite from the very beginning.

Hannover, February 2022 – The new mainstay of the Hagedorn Group’s waste management division – the Hannoveraner Wertstoffzentrum (HWG) – in the north of Germany has decided to introduce the tegossuite platform solution and the enwis module in order to sustainably support the planned growth of the company and its path to a digital future with a powerful partner and a modern software solution.

In the future, the Hannoveraner Wertstoffzentrum (HWG) will serve as a recycling centre for mineral masses and waste from deconstruction, demolition, civil engineering and other construction measures and will take care of logistics, disposal and recycling as part of the Hagedorn Group. With HWG, the Hagedorn Group is accelerating the expansion of its waste disposal division and increasing its capacities for professional disposal.

In order to create the basis for the opening of further locations and pave the way for the targeted growth, HWG needs a solution that harmonises processes and allows management to quickly access the company’s key figures. To this end, HWG also needs a central ERP platform that supports their processes accordingly. Following the recommendation of Thorsten Hage, Managing Director of the Gütersloher Wertstoffzentrum (GWG), HWG now opted for the platform of tegos GmbH from Dortmund and is now implementing the tegossuite based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. „With tegos and their solutions, we now have the basis we need to quickly get to our required key figures. The Microsoft platform and the deep integration as in Power BI, in addition to tegos‘ industry knowledge, convinced us of the competitive advantage this solution can bring,“ says Frank Röschard, Managing Director of HWG.

„With our tegossuite, we cover many processes of the HWG in the standard. That was convincing. HWG wants to take a path into the digital future with us. In the process, further add ons such as DMS or electronic data exchange will also be implemented together. With HWG and the associated waste disposal division of the Hagedorn Group, we have gained one of the market leaders in the field of recycling building materials as a new partner,“ explains Ralf Linnemann, Managing Director of tegos GmbH Dortmund.

„The HWG is an important expansion and only the first step in the expansion of our waste management division. To strengthen the location and the entire division, we need the right partners at our side. With tegos, we can support the processes accordingly cleanly and efficiently and continue to grow, says division manager Alfred Winkelmann. The objective is for tegossuite to act as a platform solution for the individual locations of the Hagedorn Group and to function as a sustainable basic framework. As soon as the new software is used in Hanover, the adaptation will follow at the Gütersloher Wertstoffzentrum (GWG). In the future, the other planned waste disposal centres of the Hagedorn Group will also benefit from tegossuite.

tegos is particularly pleased about the new partnership with HWG and the Hagedorn Group – also because both companies share the same passion for the Schalke 04 football club, which owner and managing director Thomas Hagedorn lives as a strong sponsor of Schalke 04, and managing director Andreas Kullmann has in his blood as the grandson of a Schalke co-founder.
